We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Head of Business Continuity & Operational Resilience to lead the strategic evolution of our resiliency program.

What You’ll Work On

Reimagining Enterprise Resilience – Lead the evolution and execution of Circle’s global business continuity and operational resilience program, moving from static playbooks to a dynamic capability embedded across all regions and business lines.

AI‑Driven Risk & Resilience Transformation – Design and implement AI‑enabled solutions to modernize the program, including automated Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), real‑time scenario modeling, and predictive risk insights.

Proactive Risk Identification & Intelligence – Establish a forward‑looking framework that continuously identifies, assesses, and prioritizes operational vulnerabilities.

Embedding Resilience into the Business – Work closely with engineering, operations, security, and product teams to integrate resilience into critical workflows and infrastructure, ensuring essential services, such as USDC minting and burning, remain resilient under all conditions.

Advanced Scenario Testing & Crisis Readiness – Build and lead a modern testing program that goes beyond traditional exercises, leveraging scenario‑based simulations, stress testing, and adversarial “red team” exercises.

Regulatory Alignment & Industry Leadership – Ensure alignment with global regulatory expectations (e.g., DORA) and help shape Circle’s leadership position in operational resilience.

Cross‑Functional & External Engagement – Develop strong, trust‑based relationships across internal stakeholders and third‑party partners to drive accountability, transparency, and coordinated resilience outcomes at scale.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

Proven Enterprise Resilience Leadership – 10+ years of experience building and leading business continuity and/or operational resilience programs in complex, global environments, ideally within fintech or crypto.

Transformation Mindset – Experience evolving traditional continuity programs into modern, risk‑driven resilience capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and measurable business impact.

AI & Data‑Driven Capabilities – Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance resilience programs, automate manual processes, identify emerging risks, and accelerate decision‑making.

Digital Assets & Financial Infrastructure Understanding – Familiarity with blockchain technology, stablecoins, and the operational demands of always‑on financial platforms.

Deep Technical & Domain Expertise – Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, and incident response frameworks, including cloud‑native and distributed environments.

Regulatory & Risk Acumen – Experience working within regulated environments and aligning programs to global standards and frameworks.

Executive Communication & Influence – Exceptional ability to translate complex operational risks into clear, data‑driven narratives for senior leadership, regulators, and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Builder Mentality – A hands‑on leader who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated to build, modernize, and scale programs that drive real business value.

Education & Certifications – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP) are valued.

Base Pay Range: $172,500 – $222,500
