About The Role FIFA World Cup 26™ Houston and the Sports Authority Foundation are seeking a creative and driven
Video & Digital Content Producer
to support content development leading up to and during the tournament.
In this role, you will work closely with the Harris County–Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) Marketing Team to capture, edit, and produce compelling video and digital content that highlights Houston as a Host City. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller with hands‑on experience in videography and editing, comfortable working with a professional camera, and has a deep understanding of social and digital content trends.
This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience producing high‑impact content around a global sporting event while further developing technical and creative skills in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
This position is a contract position that begins in May 2026 and ends in August 2026. This position pays hourly and is not eligible for employee benefits.
Responsibilities
Capture high‑quality video content at events, including FIFA Fan Festival™, community activations, press conferences and speaking engagements
Edit dynamic video content for social media, digital campaigns, and promotional use using Adobe Premiere Pro
Produce short‑form video content optimized for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn
Support the creation of highlight reels, recap videos, promotional content, and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts and storytelling ideas
Ensure all content aligns with FIFA World Cup 26™ and HCHSA brand guidelines and visual standards
Capture photo content as needed to support broader marketing initiatives
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to campaign and creative content ideation
Monitor trending video styles and social media platform updates to help keep HCHSA content fresh and engaging
Assist in organizing and managing video footage, project files, and media assets
Onsite support at events as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Film, Media Production, Digital Media, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred
Proven experience with video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro required
Experience shooting video using professional camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless systems)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong storytelling instincts and a creative eye for video composition and pacing
Understanding of social media platforms, video formats, and digital content best practices
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills
Passion for sports, live events, and digital media
