Associate Designer (Girls)

A leading kids’ lifestyle brand is seeking a Girls’ Assistant Designer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, 5-days-onsite role based in New York City, offering hands-on experience in the girlswear category and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, creative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Support the design process from concept through development for girls’ separates
Create and maintain tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Produce clean, accurate flat sketches; assist with graphics and prints as needed
Handle data entry and track product changes throughout the development cycle
Troubleshoot development issues with cross-functional partners
Meet deadlines and respond positively to direction and feedback in a fast-paced setting
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Apparel or Fashion Design (or equivalent experience)
1–2 years of design experience; internships considered
Previous Kidswear or interest in Kidswear design
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop is a plus
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple styles/details
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, positive mindset
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
