We are seeking a motivated, creative, and reliable Communications & Social Media Intern to join our team. This hands‑on internship provides real‑world exposure to healthcare communications, digital storytelling, and brand engagement. The intern will support content creation, social media, blogs, and events—helping tell meaningful stories about the people and services we serve.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field (real‑world experience will also be considered)
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and clarity
Working knowledge of social media platforms and current content trends
Experience with or willingness to learn creative editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva)
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and take initiative
Professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Interest in healthcare communications, brand storytelling, or corporate communications is a plus
Essential Functions
Create, edit, and publish content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and internal channels
Develop short‑form and long‑form content such as captions, graphics, blog posts, spotlights, and announcements aligned with brand voice
Capture and create visual content including photos, short videos, reels, and event recaps
Use creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva) to produce engaging digital content
Support blog development by drafting content, editing submissions, formatting posts, and coordinating approvals
Assist with internal and external event support, including preparation, setup, content capture, and post‑event communications
Maintain content calendars, digital asset libraries, and basic performance tracking for social media engagement
Collaborate with the Communications team on campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, and storytelling projects
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, professionalism, and compliance expectations in a healthcare environment
