This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Public Sector Technology Director - REMOTE. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our partner's platform is ready to handle regulated workloads necessary for the Public Sector business. The successful candidate will translate regulatory requirements and customer needs into actionable solutions across various teams including Product, Engineering, and Compliance. By acting as the technical lead for Public Sector initiatives, this position will significantly reduce delivery risks and enable faster deal execution, allowing our partner to enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth.
Accountabilities
Own execution and coordination of Public Sector compliance frameworks and requirements.
Ensure platform readiness for Public Sector requirements, identifying and driving remediation of gaps.
Translate regulatory requirements and customer needs into clear technical requirements.
Act as technical lead on complex Public Sector deals and validate solution architectures.
Lead resolution of customer delivery issues and improve communication processes.
Drive documentation and transparency on Public Sector product availability and constraints.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional work experience required.
12+ years of engineering experience, including senior engineering leadership roles.
Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS platforms at scale.
Direct experience supporting public sector customers. Experience aligning NIST, STIG and DoD/Federal security standards.
Demonstrated experience coordinating compliance execution for regulated environments.
Strong experience with .net based enterprise applications and Azure cloud deployments.
