Next Generation Relationship Banker

Being the next generation Relationship Banker at East West Bank means you are part of a world-class team that focuses on delivering a high quality, high-touch, and high-tech relationship banking experience across all customer touchpoints. As a Relationship Banker, you will play a key role in managing, retaining, and acquiring long-lasting win-win relationships with our customers; identifying and understanding customers' long-term financial needs and offering tailored product and services solutions; leveraging the bank's latest technology products to meet our customers' expanding needs. We will help you grow your career at East West Bank by providing you with ongoing training to expand your business knowledge, grow your digital acumen, and build long-lasting relationships with our customers. Responsibilities include achieving quarterly and annual team/branch sales goals; sourcing and developing loans; maintaining a thorough knowledge of the bank's deposit, loan and ancillary products; assisting customers with financial needs; applying strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; engaging and partnering with team members and other lines of business; communicating effectively and confidently while engaging with clients; learning products, services, and technologies quickly; using digital resources and technologies to optimize clients' digital banking experience; and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; bachelor's degree preferred; 2+ years of customer service, teller, sales experience, and MLO experience within the banking and/or financial service industry highly preferred; strong working knowledge of branch operations; consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results; professional and thorough, with strong follow-up skills; able to adapt to new process and technologies quickly; strong familiarity and fluency with branch technology, mobile and online banking platforms; strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer-service skills. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time. The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $21.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
