Motion Graphics Designer Job at Synergy Interactive in Chicago

*This will be a fully onsite role in Chicago (River North area), no exceptions*

We are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to create high-quality animations that bring a brand’s visual identity to life across marketing, product, and digital channels. This hands-on role translates creative direction into polished motion assets that communicate product stories and strengthen brand expression.

The designer will collaborate with creative leadership and cross-functional teams to produce engaging visuals for product explainers, social content, and digital experiences, ensuring motion work is consistent, modern, and strategically aligned.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate branded motion graphics for videos, social media, and digital platforms


• Create 2D animations and transform static designs into dynamic visuals


• Collaborate with design, marketing, and brand teams to maintain visual consistency


• Support video editing, sequencing, and audio syncing as needed


• Establish a cohesive motion language aligned with brand guidelines


• Optimize and export animations for web, social, and mobile


• Develop reusable animation templates and assets


• Stay current with motion design trends and best practices

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of motion graphics experience in an agency or in-house team


• Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro


• Experience creating branded 2D animations for digital platforms


• Ability to execute creative direction and maintain brand standards


• Strong collaboration, organization, and time-management skills


• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality deliverables
