Music Director Job at Ladgov Corporation in Luke

The applicant shall work closely with other choir directors and musicians, and pastoral team to continually upgrade the music library and repertoires used in the service.

The applicant shall coordinate all support requirements with the Contract Officer, Chaplain, or a designated representative.

The applicant must play their instrument of choice regularly on Sundays.

The applicant shall assist the Chaplain in coordinating music by special groups and choirs.

Duties

• Work closely with other choir directors and musicians, and pastoral team to continually upgrade the music library and repertoires used in the service.
• Coordinate all support requirements with the Contract Officer, Chaplain, or a designated representative.
• Play instrument of choice regularly on Sundays.
• Assist the Chaplain in coordinating music by special groups and choirs.

Education & Qualifications

• Ability to read music and demonstrated accompaniment ability with the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
• Contemporary & Gospel choir experience and familiarity with the flow of Contemporary & Gospel worship styles.
• Letter of recommendation from an ordained clergy person.
• At least five years of experience playing the piano, organ/keyboard, or guitar.
