Job Description
The Automotive Business Development Center Appointment Setter provides exceptional service to our customers by answering inquiries about our products and services on the phone and via the internet and sets appointments for customers to come into the dealership to meet with our sales staff to make their purchase. In addition, they promote the company's full array of products and services and will develop, implement, and continuously engage in sound strategies to meet stated business goals in terms of customer satisfaction and sales targets.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service or inside sales experience. They must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities
Interacts with customers by phone to provide information about products and services and make appointments
Initiates trusting business sales relationships and cultivates referrals
Maintains records of customer interactions and transactions
Handles customers questions and proactively gives information to set appointments
Meets or exceeds all service and sales targets
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
Outstanding phone skills
Upbeat personality with a warm and friendly demeanor
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Highly professional and dependable
Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
