This role supports toy portfolio management by assisting with strategy and the product development pipeline, with a focus on marketing support for Thomas & Friends toy products.
Responsibilities
Support the development of toy strategy by segment
Support the toy pricing architecture and competitive positioning
Assist in gathering consumer/play insights specific to toy usage and play patterns
Collaborate with Design/R&D to bring toys from concept to shelf
Support toy business performance (POS performance and SKU metrics revenue, margin, productivity)
Provide input to Brand Marketing on packaging, messaging, and feature storytelling
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience
Project management skills with potential to manage complex product development timelines
Strong quantitative/analytical/financial skills (forecasting, pricing, SKU productivity and competitive analysis)
Financial acumen and experience with P&L management
Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams (e.g., design and manufacturing)
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills
Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills, proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience in category management, product marketing, or product development
Background in CPG or toy companies, ideally with exposure to retail buyer dynamics
Retail/channel knowledge and the ability to leverage insights to build mass, specialty, and e‑commerce distribution strategies

The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
