About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP Commercial Lender to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for making and servicing a diverse range of commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) loans. This includes developing and managing commercial loan accounts, soliciting commercial clients, and generating a variety of commercial and real estate loans. The role also involves assisting senior officers with larger and more complex loans, as well as providing various customer services. Professional and civic involvement in the community is a key aspect of the position, as the company values representatives who can effectively engage and promote the bank's services.
Applicants for the VP Commercial Lender position at the company should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field, and have a minimum of 7 years' of direct lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships. A proven track record in generating CRE and C&I loans, formal credit training, and experience in underwriting are preferred. The role requires a candidate with extensive knowledge of commercial banking products and services, particularly in the areas of C&I and commercial real estate loans.
