Director, Technical Services
Full-time position based in Denver that requires in‑office attendance at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Lead and scale a high‑performing Technical Services team charged with making Kharon’s data ubiquitous, defining the standards for how Kharon integrates with global financial institutions, corporates, and channel partners.
Master the intricacies of Kharon’s various product lines and data schemas, providing expert guidance to clients on data mapping, field logic, and the application of Kharon’s methodology within their specific workflows.
Act as a conduit between product, engineering, and client‑facing teams to ensure alignment with complex integration requirements.
Own the end‑to‑end success of data feed and Enterprise API integrations, ensuring seamless delivery of Kharon’s insights into client environments.
Enable channel partner relationships, developing scalable integration playbooks that empower third‑party platforms to ingest Kharon data efficiently.
Serve as the senior technical authority in high‑stakes pre‑sales and post‑sales engagements, recommending optimized deployment methods and translating sophisticated client needs into actionable specifications.
Design and implement automated monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting frameworks to reduce time‑to‑life for new customers.
Synthesize global market feedback and technical friction points to inform roadmap priorities.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of high‑quality technical documentation, integration guides, and best‑practice whitepapers that simplify the complexity of Kharon’s data for external developers.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, or professional services, with at least 2 years in a formal people‑management or team‑lead capacity.
Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and large‑scale data delivery mechanisms (e.g., S3, SFTP, Snowflake sharing).
Familiarity with how data integrates into enterprise risk, compliance, financial, or trade intelligence platforms (e.g., Fircosoft, NetReveal, Bridger, SAP, Salesforce, specialized KYC/AML screening tools).
Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of complex, concurrent integration projects using Agile or similar methodologies.
Strong ability to debug complex data content and delivery issues and a track record of building internal tools or scripts (Python, SQL, etc.) and making use of artificial intelligence to support your work.
Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, from C‑level executives to internal product owners.
Experience in FinTech, RegTech, or the sanctions/risk intelligence space is highly desirable.
