
Director, Human Resources

Our client is a privately held, full-service medical management organization based in the Mid-South who is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Human Resources to lead their human resources function. This role will shape how they attract, develop, and retain talent across both their corporate teams and clinical operations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will help drive organizational success by building strong people strategies, supporting leaders, and fostering an engaging and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute people strategies aligned with business growth and organizational goals, partnering with senior leadership on workforce planning, structure, and culture while using HR data and insights to measure impact
Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives, reinforcing company values and overseeing recognition and rewards programs to improve overall employee experience
Lead total rewards and benefits strategy, including plan design, vendor management, and ongoing evaluation to ensure competitiveness and cost effectiveness
Design and implement leadership development, training, onboarding, and compliance programs while identifying skill gaps and addressing organizational development needs
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws, partnering with legal on risk mitigation, and guiding employee relations, performance management, and investigations
Lead internal communications strategy, supporting leadership messaging and organizational updates to ensure alignment and engagement across teams
Serve as a strategic HR partner to leaders, supporting talent management, performance discussions, workforce planning, and operational growth needs
Lead, develop, and manage the HR team, including priorities, workflows, budgeting, resource planning, and overall department effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
HR experience with increasing responsibility
Experience leading HR teams or functions
Experience in healthcare or multi-location organizations preferred
Professional HR certification such as SHRM‑SCP or SPHR preferred
Strong background in employee engagement, benefits, and leadership development preferred
Skills
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
High level of integrity and confidentiality
