Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Real Estate Attorney with a specialty in Condo/Coop to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the legal principles surrounding condominium and cooperative housing, as well as corporate governance. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring legal compliance in all matters related to condominiums and cooperatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals.Responsibilities:1. Provide legal advice and guidance on all matters related to condominiums and cooperatives.2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to condominium and cooperative housing.3. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding condominiums and cooperatives.4. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, if necessary.5. Advise on corporate governance issues and ensure compliance with corporate governance principles.6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement legal strategies.7. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to condominiums, cooperatives, and corporate governance.8. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents as required.9. Provide training to the management team on legal issues related to condominiums, cooperatives, and corporate governance.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on condominiums and cooperatives.3. Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to condominiums, cooperatives, and corporate governance.4. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Excellent research and report-writing skills.8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.9. Admission to the state bar.10.
