Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
Manage family law cases from initial consultation through resolution. Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials. Provide clients with clear, practical legal advice while setting realistic expectations. Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys. Negotiate settlements in the best interest of clients. Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure deadlines are met. Contribute to the firm's reputation through professionalism and community engagement. Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Illinois. 2+ years of family law or related litigation experience preferred. Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
