Specialty Shop Carpenter- Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

We have a solid team of craftsman and we are adding to our specialty shop carpenter position. If you LOVE building and solving challenges this position is for you.

Responsibilities Build specialty parts of custom cabinetry and millwork in a shop setting. Grain match doors/drawers, build radius and one off parts, jigs etc. for high end projects. Basic responsibilities:

Interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to fabricate custom cabinets and components.

Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinet parts with precision.

Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers equipment safely and efficiently.

Select and prepare materials, including wood, laminates, veneers, and hardware.

Maintain quality control standards and ensure all work meets customer specifications.

Troubleshoot fabrication issues and propose solutions.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Collaborate with other team members, including designers, installers, and shop staff, to ensure timely project completion.

Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on fabrication experience in cabinetry or woodworking.

WILLIING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Previous experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or custom furniture fabrication.

Strong understanding of wood types, joinery methods, and finishing techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.

Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills.

Strong physical stamina and dexterity.

Team player with good communication skills.

Knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop environment.
