EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the ADMINISTRATION AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Additional Information continued. Position may require some walking, standing, climbing, bending, and carrying of office supplies and equipment. Position may involve exposure to angry or upset employees or union officials using strong or offensive language and expressions. Position may require travel to various buildings and plant locations as needed to address EEO matters. Position may require exposure to dust, dirt, and grime when visiting operating utility plants, and understand that varying lighting and air quality conditions may be encountered.

GS-12:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing Reasonable Accommodation (RA) requests from initiation through completion ensuring compliance within policy guidance and timelines.

GS-11:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical advice and guidance to organizational leaders to include researching products/technologies available to support Reasonable Accommodation (RA) requests.
