Alba Vineyard | Warren Hills AVA, New Jersey Alba Vineyard is a pioneering estate winery and a benchmark for East Coast viticulture, recognized for producing award-winning wines from estate-grown fruit. Our 40-acre, high-density hillside vineyard is farmed with a sustainable, European-inspired approach and focused on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Cabernet Franc. We are a small, quality-driven team where every person has a meaningful impact on the farming and the wines. This is a hands‑on, full-time role with a clear path for growth for the right candidate. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vineyard Associate will work directly with the Vineyard Manager and winemaking team in all aspects of vineyard operations. This is an opportunity to be deeply involved in a premium, high-density vinifera program and to grow into a long‑term leadership role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all seasonal vineyard tasks including: Dormant pruning Shoot thinning & positioning Canopy management Crop adjustment Harvest operations Assist with vineyard organization and efficiency improvements Operate tractors and vineyard equipment (or willingness to learn) Participate in sustainable farming practices and spray programs Collect and monitor vineyard data and fruit maturity samples Assist with winery operations during harvest and key production periods Support general estate upkeep as needed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Strong work ethic and positive, team‑oriented attitude Passion for viticulture and premium winegrowing Ability to work outdoors in all seasons Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality farming Self‑motivated and able to work independently Valid driver’s license Ability to lift 50 lbs PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

Vineyard, farm, landscape, or horticulture experience Tractor and equipment experience Interest in long‑term career in viticulture WHY ALBA
