
Sr Portfolio Analyst

In the Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology organization, the Senior Portfolio Analyst focuses on developing and maintaining alignment of portfolio projects with evolving business priorities and budgetary requirements. The role collaborates closely with Global Program Management, Strategic Planning, and Senior Business Leaders to maximize benefits for project reporting and consolidation.
Essential Functions
Participate in creating and maintaining the Capital Portfolio, including long‑range plans, annual capital budgets and quarterly forecasts
Perform evaluations and analysis of the active portfolio to ensure consistent alignment with business goals and budgets
Proactively identify financial trends, recommend adjustments, and signal potential issues to stay on budget
Coordinate with Global Program Management to capture all resource allocations per project
Generate detailed project reports for stakeholders and maintain accuracy and timeliness of data
Communicate regularly with Accounting, Finance, Portfolio Management teams, peers and DEEP&T Alliance leaders and managers
Develop and maintain the project approval process
Maintain and govern the list of technology programs reflecting performance of projects within the portfolio
Process new work requests and prioritize based on business need, budget and resource availability
Perform monthly resource allocations from expense to capital and monthly capital accruals
Assist the Fixed Assets team in capitalizing assets and confirm details with project leads
Review procurement of goods and services to ensure alignment with Disney policies and budgets
Support ad‑hoc and periodic special projects with focus on speed, accuracy, and clarity
Assure compliance with tax, legal, asset accounting and TWDC policies and procedures
Proactively resolve issues related to the portfolio of work and/or the budget
Escalate issues as appropriate
Required Qualifications
BS/BA in Business or related field
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
Thorough understanding and experience with portfolio management and project accounting concepts and practices
Familiarity with corporate accounting software such as SAP, Coupa, Workday Adaptive Planning, and presentation software such as Google Workspace is a plus
Minimum 5+ years experience
The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $114,600 to $157,500 per year. The base pay will be based on internal equity and may vary by geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be part of the compensation, as well as a full range of medical, financial and other benefits.
