We are looking for an Associate Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Paralegal to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Director of Intellectual Property & Brand Protection. This role plays a key part in supporting Vuori’s intellectual property and brand protection efforts by providing efficient, organized legal support to help manage, build, and enforce a strong IP portfolio and protect Vuori’s brand rights.
What you'll get to do:
Support oversight of the trademark portfolio and coordinate with outside counsel on related matters, including monitoring and managing key deadlines
Communicate with internal teams on trademark prosecution and brand protection matters
Gather and organize trademark use evidence (e.g., specimens, first-use dates) to support prosecution and maintenance filings
Conduct and evaluate trademark clearance searches for proposed product names and taglines
Monitor and report on IP and brand protection metrics, including enforcement efforts, infringement activity, and IP portfolio status
Investigate potential infringements, fraudulent activity, and unauthorized use of brand assets
Work with brand protection providers and relevant platforms to implement takedowns and support enforcement actions
Maintain and organize IP records and trackers to support trademark prosecution, audits, reporting, and enforcement matters
Assist with legal compliance efforts by developing internal guidance for the business
Identify gaps in IP coverage and assist with developing new trademark filing and global protection strategies
Organize legal documentation, including agreements, declarations, affidavits, records, authorization letters, and Apostille certifications
Support other legal and administrative tasks as needed
Who you are:
Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program or equivalent relevant experience preferred
3+ years of experience in intellectual property and/or brand protection, in-house and/or at a law firm
Solid understanding of IP processes (e.g., trademark prosecution), infringement, counterfeits, and other IP and brand protection matters
Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Effective communicator with strong writing and drafting skills
Fast learner and self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
