Primary canvas will be social, digital, web and video with some print sprinkled in. Ideal candidate is natural storyteller with a passion to engage with consumers through useful, usable and innovative content, has a keen sense of organization, thrives under pressure and loves punctuation.**Reporting Relations**Accountable and Reports to: Assistant Director, Video Content; Vice President, Brand & CreativePositions that Report to you: None**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:* Write clever, engaging copy across a variety of digital platforms (including, but not limited to social media, emails and newsletters, Hy-Vee.com, Hy-Vee’s App and SMS Texts).* Collaborate and brainstorm with Content Team on original ideas for channel marketing campaigns and their respective outputs.* Responsible for day-to-day management of copy process start to finish.* Create, proof and edit written content with correct spelling and grammar.* Ensure copy tone and style are on brand, consistent, and support strategic business goals across all Hy-Vee print and digital platforms.* Implement best practices for entertaining and informative copy content across various digital properties (including social media and paid campaigns) while applying proper tagging and SEO where applicable.* Stay relevant with industry trends and follows emerging social and digital channels and marketing tactics to elevate content.* Report analytics of content performance for responsible platforms with support from data team.* Able to handle whatever comes your way, manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Responsible for following strict timelines.**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities**Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:*** Commitment to the Hy-Vee Mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company.* Excellent organizational, time management, communication and problem-solving skills.* Passionate about creative ideas and can express these ideas with clarity.* Experience in overseeing the development and execution of projects across a range of mediums.* Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams.* Works well in a team environment with ability to lead projects associated with internal marketing department and external suppliers.* Takes constructive criticism well and is able to critique and review work from other team members to improve the output.* Thrives in a fast-paced environment.* Passion for food, recipes, lifestyle, and DIY content.* Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Leaders to create and update presentations and collateral for client and/or executive presentations, promotional materials and more.* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.* Stay current with and leverage AI tools to support content creation, testing, and optimization, using them to enhance efficiency while maintaining brand voice, accuracy, and quality standards.* Expertise with Microsoft Office Products, proficient with social media business accounts, CMS platforms, and Project Management platform.**Education and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field required.* Minimum 2-3 years experience in content and creative writing in agency or similar environment.**Physical Requirements*** Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction, normal depth perceptions* Must be physically able to perform light work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects and occasionally standing or walking* Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions when asked to be onset.**Working Conditions**The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting and also a work from home environment.
