Join an established internship providing real world experience working directly with independent insurance agency partners around the country.**Duties in the Marketing Communications Department include:*** Communicate with prospective agents via telephone to identify their interest in an appointment with BHHC* Craft marketing messages to inform and sell prospective agents on benefits of partnering with BHHC* Use internal data to understand market, BHHC product offering, and potential areas of growth* Acquire market intelligence via phone conversations with prospective agents, team meetings, interface with Field Marketing Representatives, and industry publications.* Assist Agency Unit with application process and follow up with prospective agencies for completeness* Perform other marketing duties as assigned.**During this internship, the student will gain:*** Professional verbal and written communication skills* Data analysis skills with experience in Excel, PowerBI, and CoPilot* Confidence in collaborating with diverse people* Knowledge of fundamental principles of insurance including commercial auto and property* Knowledge of Marketing Department operations**Requirements:*** Sophomore or Junior* Marketing or business major and maintain full-time course load during internship* Proficiency with personal computers and software such as Excel and Word* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Excellent customer service skills* Excellent phone skills* Excellent organization skills* Ability to meet deadlines### *A comprehensive benefits package is available for regular, full-time employees, including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance as well as a 401(k) with company match.
