This role reports to the Design Engineering Manager and offers the chance to work on a high-impact team focused on designing custom products that perform in the harshest environments from deep in the ocean to outer space. Responsibilities
Utilize CAD software and drafting knowledge to produce complete technical drawings.
Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics to provide solutions in accordance with customer requirements and ASME Y14 Standards.
Coordinate and consult with engineers to complete projects on time.
Transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software.
Work with the Document Management Specialist in generating and ensuring the accuracy of Engineering Change Orders and Certifications of Conformance.
Work extensively with engineering regarding engineering design and quote files.

Required qualifications
Associate's Degree in Drafting or another technical field.
0 – 2 years of experience as a Drafter.
Experience with CAD software
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data. Under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire. MUST be US Citizen or possess a Green Card

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
