The Senior Marketing Events Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of high‑impact external and internal events, with a strong emphasis on tradeshows and large‑scale industry events. This role plays a critical part in expanding brand presence, supporting commercial objectives, and creating meaningful customer and employee engagement. The position also partners closely with internal communications and leadership to deliver internal events that energize teams and reinforce the Heraeus Medevio culture, particularly within the medical device industry. This position is based at the Fridley, MN location with the need to travel occasionally to the White Bear Lake, MN location as well as domestic and international travel, up to 40 %. What You’ll Do Every Day
Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of domestic and international tradeshows, including booth design and messaging, logistics, vendor coordination, on‑site execution, and post‑event follow‑up. Develop and deliver impactful external events that expand brand presence and support business growth, including experiential marketing, product demonstrations, and customer education events. Partner with sales, commercial leadership, and product teams to ensure tradeshow and event objectives align with business and revenue goals. Plan and execute internal events in collaboration with the Internal Communications team to engage employees and reinforce Medevio culture. Steward and enforce Heraeus Medevio brand standards across all event and tradeshow materials and experiences. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather input and develop tools and content for customer engagement before, during, and after events. Manage and maintain vendor relationships for event materials, fabrication, logistics, media, and experiential services in the U.S. and internationally. Own event‑related project management and vendor management systems, timelines, budgets, and ROI tracking. Other duties may be assigned as required. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event management, with a strong preference for candidates with tradeshow planning and execution experience. Medical device or regulated healthcare industry experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with a process‑oriented mindset and focus on ROI‑driven KPIs. Ability to work autonomously while managing both strategic planning and tactical execution. Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40 %, including some international travel, to support tradeshows and events. Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $90,000 and $118,000 based upon a full‑time schedule. This is a good faith estimate of the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus‑eligible, with a target bonus of 10 %. The total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
