Position Summary The Full Time Sales Consultant is the dealership’s primary customer representative. You are responsible for all aspects of the sales process from identifying prospective customers to maintaining ongoing customer relationships that encourage repeat business. Throughout the process, you may be called upon to assist customers in choosing new or used vehicles, financial services, accessories, and options. You also play an important role in representing the dealership’s Parts and Service Departments to your customers.
Schedule Monday – Saturday. Sunday and one other scheduled day off per week
Willingness to work holidays and Saturdays (required)
Key Responsibilities
Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests and matching them to the most appropriate car.
Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of vehicles.
Providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models.
Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
Maintaining a customer database and communicating with them.
Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
Maintaining reporting structures and recording sales and inventory into CRM software.
Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets
Qualifications
Ability to be competitive while maintaining the client’s best interests (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
Strong customer service and negotiation skills (preferred)
Superb written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
Willingness to work holidays and weekends (preferred)
A passion for sales and customer satisfaction (preferred)High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license (required)
Work Environment
Fast‑paced automotive sales department
Primarily indoor work environment with occasional service shop or parts department interaction
Ability to stand and move around dealership
Frequent contact with customers, sales and management to ensure sales completion.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $24,000 - $100,000 annually with Commission
