Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary / Objective Euro-Composites Corporation is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our advanced composite solutions. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and executing sales strategies across the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and hands‑on execution to help scale our operations in domestic and international markets.

Essential Functions This position has a base schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule may be adjusted based on business needs.

Own the entire sales pipeline, from initial lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation and closing.

Execute multi‑year sales strategies focused on growth objectives within the defense and aerospace sectors.

Meet and exceed established KPIs, sales metrics, and performance benchmarks to ensure consistent top‑line revenue growth.

Utilize in‑house ERP and business intelligence tools for accurate reporting, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Business Development & Market Expansion (30%)

Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and product verticals for lightweight honeycomb and structural products.

Expand the company’s reach through proactive outbound strategies, industry networking, and attendance at trade shows and technical conferences.

Conduct competitive analysis to inform go‑to‑market strategies and pricing models.

Technical Customer Engagement (20%)

Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building trust‑based, long‑term relationships with technical buyers and procurement professionals.

Drive early‑stage engagement with customers regarding composite design, material selection, and engineering requirements.

Collaborate closely with internal Engineering, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure the technical alignment and manufacturability of customer proposals.

Guide customers through complex requirements, including AS9100, NADCAP composites, and material qualification processes.

ERP/BI: Proficiency in using ERP software for sales operations and performance analysis.

Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Collaboration: Experience with Outlook, Zoom, and other professional communication tools.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or Business with a technical background (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or advanced materials (previous leadership experience is a plus).

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and industry‑specific certification requirements.

Industry Expertise: Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals with Aerospace OEMs (e.g., Boeing, Airbus), Tier‑1 suppliers, or defense procurement channels.

Compliance: Experience navigating ITAR/EAR compliance and government procurement cycles.

Communication: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.

Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 30–50%) to support customer needs and industry events.

Office‑based position with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.

Occasional lifting of files or office materials.
