General Job Description

Our Automotive Sales Team Manager is an individual with the vision and dedication needed to manage sales activities.

Our Automotive Sales Team Manager role is a challenging and dynamic position with opportunity for advancement. As an automotive sales team manager with Westlake Direct, LLC dba LoanCenter, you will plan and manage day-to-day sales activities associated with increasing Westlake's market share and profitability. The successful manager will increase lead conversions and grow Westlake’s market share. Other key responsibilities include the development and implementation of new projects, policies, strategic partnerships, and procedures for the organization to achieve objectives.

The successful candidate will possess a strong leadership background and a deep understanding of sales processes.

Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to)

Lead Management

Oversee lead generation, qualification, and conversion of sales leads.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting for all sales staff.

Ensure the sales team is equipped with the right tools and resources to maximize lead conversion.

Staff Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear targets to achieve sales goals.

Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance individual and team efforts.

Project Management

Lead and support various sales‑oriented projects designed to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and increase sales.

Collaborate with other leaders of the organization and departments to complete projects.

Track and report on the success of initiatives.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Monitor KPI’s to assess team performance and adjust strategies to ensure target are met.

Strategic Partnerships

Identify and develop strategic partnerships with auto dealerships, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

Cultivate long‑term relationships with existing partners and explore new partnerships.

Prepare presentations and proposals.

Knowledge, Skills, Licenses

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making abilities.

Ability to persuade and influence others.

Exceptional presentation skills.

Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.

Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.

Versatility in job functionality and quick to assimilate procedural changes.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in Sales Management role; required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook); required.

Previous work experience in the Automotive Finance industry; preferred.

Knowledge of web applications and navigation; preferred.

Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL; beneficial.

PAY PLAN

$54,000.00 - $108,000.00 annually with bonus.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

Schedule

Full‑time.
