Key Responsibilities
Process follow-up on denied claims and appeals to secure payment on outstanding claims Research and follow up on denials to maximize collection efforts and ensure compliance with regulations Maintain productivity and quality standards while working collaboratively within a team environment
Required Qualifications
Approximately two+ years of experience with insurance denial processes in a multi-facility environment High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred Knowledge of health insurance correspondence denial processing and coordination of benefits requirements Understanding of physician billing guidelines for commercial and government payers Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a structured, fast-paced environment
