Job Title: Associate IT Director – SAP Applications
Salary Range: $185-200k
Introduction
We’re seeking a business-focused Associate IT Director to lead SAP applications and strategy within a pharmaceutical environment. This role will drive the SAP roadmap, oversee application delivery, and partner with business leaders to enhance processes, reporting, and system capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years IT management experience supporting SAP ERP
- 12+ years hands‑on SAP experience (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP‑PI, WMS, IBP, BI, PI/PO)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated environments
- Proven SAP leadership across global template environments
- Strong experience with SAP integrations, vendors, and IT demand management
- Background leading SAP transformations and business case development
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Define and execute SAP strategy and roadmap
- Lead SAP application management, including vendors, budget, and support
- Partner with stakeholders to prioritize demand and drive improvements
- Oversee system performance, security, and compliance (SOX, audits)
- Lead SAP projects from planning through deployment
- Manage global teams and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery
