Overview
The position of Associate Director of Philanthropy for Membership and Individual Support is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced Membership and individual giving professional to deepen and expand a growing and loyal core of support for Jacob’s Pillow, including upper Membership levels of the Ted Shawn Circle ($2,000 - $9,999), School Sponsorship ($5,500) and other program area Member sponsorship circles where there could be potential (i.e. Community Engagement and Archives). The successful post-holder will also have portfolio oversight of individual giving appeal strategies, planned giving, and Member stewardship. The Associate Director of Philanthropy for Membership & Individual Support reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and prospects, as well as more than 80 planned giving Members of the Pillow’s Landmark Circle.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and prospects and more than 80 planned giving Members of the Pillow’s Landmark Circle.
- Oversee individual giving appeal strategies and planned giving initiatives.
- Provide Member stewardship and engagement to sustain and grow support at various membership levels.
- Collaborate with the Chief Philanthropy Officer and other team members to develop and execute fundraising strategies for membership and individual giving.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Membership and/or individual giving professional.
