Associate Program Director Internal Medicine Residency Program, South Pointe

Position

The Department of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to serve as Associate Program Director (APD) in their Osteopathically Recognized Internal Medicine Residency Program at South Pointe Hospital.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ambulatory experiences and resident scheduling to ensure efficient workflows and quality care; integrate osteopathic principles and manipulative treatment into training and curriculum; continuously evaluate and enhance the ambulatory curriculum in alignment with accreditation standards; lead resident education, mentorship, and wellness initiatives and support program administration, including accreditation, recruitment, evaluation, and strategic planning.

Practice as part of the academic Internal Medicine site at South Pointe, rotating clinically into inpatient teaching service, outpatient precepting, and private patient clinics in primary care. Additional opportunities exist for teaching medical students and Advanced Practice Practitioner students. Academic appointment within Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine are available.

Qualifications

Board-certified in Internal Medicine. Experience in residency education and program administration is preferred.

Salary

Minimum salary: $247,210. Maximum salary: $359,719.
