Academy - Director of Operations

Overview

The Director of Operations provides strategic oversight and leadership for key operational departments at Lipscomb Academy, including Facilities, Mustang Marketplace, Technology, and Partnership services. This role ensures that the daily operations of these areas align with the standards of excellence Lipscomb Academy expects and budget goals, while fostering strong collaboration across all Lipscomb departments and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for Facilities, Mustang Marketplace, Technology, and Partnership services to ensure alignment with organizational standards and budget goals.
• Foster collaboration across Lipscomb departments and with external partners to support operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary communication conduit between operational departments and the Head of Lipscomb Academy to ensure alignment, clarity, and consistency in all operational matters.
• Work in close partnership with Area Managers to understand ongoing initiatives, identify next steps, anticipate potential challenges, and provide informed guidance for efficient resolution.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain mature, respectful, and effective working relationships with internal teams, university departments, and external vendors.
