
Director, OSBL Delivery

The Director, OSBL Delivery is responsible for the effective execution of OSBL scope including the fabrication of modules and construction activities on site. The candidate will be required to travel between different sites and coordinate with different contractor and owner key players in order to deliver this key part of the plant safely and on time.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the VP, Construction & Fabrication in managing all fabrication and construction activities related to the OSBL scope of the project.
- Manage and coordinate fabrication and construction work across fabrication yards, and civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines on site.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention, and fire prevention programs on the project.
- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regard to HSE, to respect Project HSE requirements/regulations and to ensure implementation of HSE rules.
- Participate in planning, interface coordination, and contractor management.
- Resolution of issues raised by EPC Contractor and other stakeholders, whether technical or organizational, in line with his management as required.
- Ensure OSBL module fabrication is completed on time and sail away milestones are met with minimum or no carryover work.
- Responsible for OSBL module fabrication
- Responsible for overall supervision of personnel in assigned area of responsibility.
- Overall coordination of all activities inside the OSBL area as well as coordinating a group of superintendents, field engineers and others for daily goals and activities.
- Monitoring progress and timely installation of the modules, interconnecting components and stick-built commodities within the OSBL area
- Responsible for conducting area wide schedule, interface and performance meetings with all associated disciplines superintendents to establish and maintain a coordinated plan and efficient performance of the work in the area
- Sets area priorities and resolves conflicts between disciplines
- Resolves problems and coordinates with engineering, procurement and others to ensure appropriate solutions are determined and implemented in a timely manner.
- Monitoring the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
- Support the handover process from construction to commissioning.
- Manage and provide operational and technical advice to the Commissioning and Start-up Team on units covered in OSBL.
- Performing employee reviews and identifies training and development opportunities for subordinate personnel.
Qualifications
Education, Certificates, and Licenses: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline required
Experience
- 15+ years of module fabrication experience with experience in the oil & gas industry required.
- LNG experience strongly preferred.

- Strong understanding of the OSBL scope and various disciplines involved in the project, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
- Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Flexibility to work temporarily overseas during fabrication of the modules and then be relocated to site permanently.
- Flexibility to travel between fabrication yards (Domestic and Overseas).
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
