VP, Go to Market Strategy & Operations
Arcesium, new york, ny, United States
Company Overview
Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that solves complex data‑driven challenges faced by some of the world’s most sophisticated financial institutions. We constantly innovate our platform and capabilities to meet tomorrow’s challenges, anticipate the risks our clients encounter, and design advanced solutions to help our clients achieve transformational business outcomes.
Position Summary
Arcesium is hiring a Vice President, GTM Strategy & Operations to serve as the operational engine behind our cross‑portfolio growth initiatives. This is a high‑impact, highly visible role sitting at the center of strategy execution: turning go‑to‑market ambition into coordinated, measurable results across Growth Areas – Aquata Data platform and beyond. You will own the end‑to‑end execution machinery for a set of simultaneous, distinct growth initiatives — including new vertical segment entry (Private Credit, Insurance), new GTM motion design and deployment (product‑led growth, high‑velocity mid‑market sales), and targeted competitive displacement campaigns against legacy technology incumbents. This is not a strategy‑only role, nor a pure operations role: it requires strategic clarity to frame initiatives correctly and operational rigor to drive them through to results. At hire, this is a senior individual‑contributor role. You will be expected to operate with significant autonomy, build internal credibility rapidly, and lay the groundwork for future team‑building as the Growth Areas function scales.
Responsibilities
- Execution Coordination Across Product, Marketing, and Sales — ensure that Product, Marketing, Sales, and Client Success teams are aligned, unblocked, and executing in concert across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- New GTM Motion(s) Deployment — design and operationally stand up new go‑to‑market motions as Arcesium expands its approach beyond traditional enterprise sales.
- Contribute to new Segment Entry (Private Credit, Insurance, Others) — drive the operational side of segment entry from first initiative structure through first logos.
- External Partners Facing — represent Arcesium’s Growth Areas in select external contexts, particularly where partner and channel relationships can accelerate segment entry or distribution.
- Performance Tracking & Initiative Accountability — track and analyze performance of the Growth Area portfolio to determine whether it generates measurable pipeline and new logos, and surface the truth about what is and is not working.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in GTM operations, strategy execution, growth, or business operations roles at B2B SaaS or data/technology companies.
- Demonstrated experience operationalizing multiple simultaneous GTM motions, including at least one of: PLG, high‑velocity sales, or competitive displacement.
- Experience driving new market or vertical segment entry from initiative design through first customer wins.
- Track record of cross‑functional leadership without formal authority, aligning Product, Marketing, and Sales teams toward shared execution goals.
- Experience building or managing external partnerships or channel relationships in a B2B context.
- Financial services or investment management domain experience strongly preferred; candidates with deep SaaS GTM execution experience in adjacent regulated industries will be considered.
- Exceptional initiative structure and clarity—able to take an ambiguous mandate and turn it into a crisp scope, success criteria, and execution plan.
- Operationally precise: builds playbooks, tracks milestones, escalates early, and closes loops without being prompted.
- Commercially oriented: thinks about pipeline, conversion, and new logos, not just process completion.
- Strong communicator and cross‑functional influencer — can run a review, present to senior leadership, and hold peers accountable diplomatically.
- Analytically grounded: comfortable owning a performance dashboard, interpreting funnel data, and drawing honest conclusions about what is working.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable: thrives in a multi‑initiative environment where priorities evolve and new problems surface regularly.
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor while building toward a leadership mandate.
