Maintenance Director – Northland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center
Are you a Maintenance Director seeking an exciting new career opportunity? This description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the role as part of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and building codes. The position also covers sanitary, attractive, and orderly community maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and provision of quality laundry service.
What Will You Do in This Role?
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and building codes.
- Maintain the community in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; ensure all systems are in good repair and free from hazards.
- Provide quality laundry service as part of the role.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Minimum of one year of prior maintenance supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Professional image in appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
