Transportation Director
Start date: July 1, 2026. The Transportation Director is responsible for safe and efficient transportation, enabling students to access academic and co-curricular programming both within and outside the district. This position blends operational leadership with administrative responsibilities and organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong administrative experience in personnel management, budgeting, logistics, fleet management, and policy implementation.
- Execllent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, with experience in department-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routing, communication, emergencies and mainenance.
- Deomonstrated computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to learn department-specific software and web platforms.
- Knowledge of pupil transportation laws, D.O.T. regulations, reporting requirements, and best practices.
- CDL-B with S & P endorsements (may be obtained within one year of hire).
