This role builds and leads Micron’s Corporate Narrative & Messaging organization—the team responsible for our master story and the proof points behind it. As the keeper of Micron’s single, coherent narrative, you will define how our story is structured, scaled, and trusted across the enterprise.

You will operate at the center of Corporate Marketing, partnering deeply with Communications, Campaigns, Investor Relations, Business Units, and Corporate Strategy to ensure our narrative is consistent, disclosure‑ready, and compelling at every level.

Responsibilities

  • Own Micron’s corporate narrative and messaging architecture, partnering with senior leaders and the C‑suite to align on a single, credible story
  • Define and evolve the corporate message house, ensuring clarity on what we say, to whom, and why as the business and market evolve
  • Lead the customer storytelling and proof point program, setting standards for quality, relevance, and reuse at enterprise scale
  • Establish operating models, workflows, and disclosure‑ready systems including use case pipelines, claims databases, and cross‑BU calendars
  • Drive narrative adoption and impact through enablement, training, and measurement across marketing, communications, sales, and IR

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate marketing, communications, thought leadership, or product marketing within the technology sector
  • 3+ years leading high‑performing teams in a large, matrixed organization
  • Proven experience building enterprise‑level messaging frameworks or narrative architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technology and industry trends into clear, credible narratives for executive audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience in semiconductors, memory, storage, or adjacent deep‑tech industries
  • Familiarity with disclosure processes, legal claim reviews, and cross‑functional approval workflows
  • Experience establishing measurement frameworks for message adoption and narrative impact
  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools or marketing platforms to scale narrative development and enablement

Compensation

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is:

$155,000.00 – $322,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
