Local Superintendent Position (NO TRAVEL) – Ground Up Multifamily Projects

Salary: $100,000 – $155,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all field operations for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring milestones and budgets are met.
  • Oversee subcontractors, material deliveries, and labor schedules within the project timeline.
  • Maintain rigorous safety standards, conducting daily safety checklists and initiating pre‑construction safety discussions with subcontractors.
  • Lead on‑site teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Conduct detailed field reports, manage project punch‑lists, and ensure high‑quality project completion.
  • Engage in critical decision‑making and problem‑solving to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Minimum ten years' experience in construction, focusing on multi‑family residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Must obtain OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certification upon employment.
  • Strong knowledge of all construction facets, including earthwork, drainage, framing, finishes, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven ability to supervise, teach, and motivate staff while maintaining excellent safety habits.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects, meet critical deadlines, and make agile decisions.
