Position Overview We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and help amplify our mission across digital platforms. This paid position offers hands‑on experience in digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, and performance analytics across multiple platforms and audiences (including life science organizations and consumers). Key Responsibilities Social Media Management Develop and execute corporate social media programs across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and other platforms Create engaging, educational content that resonates with patient and life science research audiences while maintaining compliance with industry standards Monitor social media analytics and provide insights on content performance and audience engagement Respond to comments and messages in a professional, empathetic manner appropriate for healthcare communications Content Creation & Campaign Support Design and produce digital content including graphics, infographics, and written copy for use across web, email, and social channels Collaborate with internal teams to understand content needs, campaign goals, and target messaging Create branded assets, infographics, and educational materials that support partner initiatives Ensure all content aligns with Joined Bio's brand voice and healthcare communication best practices Research digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and competitive landscape relevant to our industry Track and report on key performance metrics across digital channels, including reach, engagement, and conversion Assist in developing content calendars and coordinated campaign strategies Support the creation of marketing guidelines, templates, and best practices documentation Email & Digital Campaigns Assist in building and deploying email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy and coordinating scheduling Support A/B testing efforts to optimize messaging, subject lines, and calls‑to‑action Help maintain and grow email subscriber lists and audience segmentation Monitor campaign performance and assist with post‑send reporting and optimization Qualifications Required Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within past 12 months) of an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program Must be a Massachusetts resident OR have attended college in Massachusetts Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Proficiency in major social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram) Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Understanding of social media and digital marketing analytics and reporting Preferred Interest in healthcare, biotechnology, or patient advocacy Experience creating content for professional or consumer‑facing audiences Knowledge of healthcare communication regulations and sensitivities Previous internship or project experience in social media marketing Familiarity with content management systems and social media scheduling tools What You’ll Gain Hands‑on experience across multiple digital marketing disciplines, from content and social to email and analytics Mentorship from experienced marketing professionals Exposure to real campaigns, strategies, and tools used in industry A portfolio of work and measurable results to bring to future employers Flexible work arrangements with potential for remote work Professional development opportunities and networking Pathways to full‑time hire Duration & Commitment This internship position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate individual needs, with an expected commitment of 20‑40 hours per week.
