Business Development – Account Executive / Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development through proactive prospecting and high‑volume cold calling
Schedule and conduct in‑person meetings with key decision‑makers to promote our technical staffing and executive search solutions
Build and manage long‑term client relationships using a generous expense account for lunches, off‑site meetings, and networking events
Prepare client proposals and supporting documentation
Screen and interview candidates to assess strengths, weaknesses, and overall fit
Maintain strong industry relationships to stay informed and generate referrals
Partner with leadership to develop account strategies and maximize client satisfaction
Consistently achieve sales performance goals
Negotiate compensation packages, benefits, and employment terms with candidates
Oversee pre‑employment processes including references and background/drug screenings
Manage contract employees throughout their assignments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven success in Outside Sales or Account Management within an IT staffing agency
Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through cold calling and new business development
Experience working in a fast‑paced agency environment is required
Strong relationship‑building skills, including comfort with lunch meetings and on‑site client visits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly competitive, results‑driven, and process‑oriented
Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
