Summary
The main function of a marketing manager is to lead the research of market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Responsibilities
Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return‑on‑investment and profit‑loss projections.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
Optimize and execute content for ***.com/Business (e.g., homepage, product detail pages, marketing landing pages).
Execute the build of below‑the‑fold enhanced content on PDPs, landing pages, etc.
Make regular homepage updates that align with current campaigns, content pillars, seasonality, etc.
Execute updates and refreshes on existing content to keep it relevant and accurate.
Ensure site is optimized for traditional SEO and GEO.
Work with internal stakeholders & external agencies on email project management, branding, legal, copywriting, and analytics.
Report on web and email analytics.
Assist with various ad‑hoc CRM, Operations, and Lead Qualification and Analytics efforts outside of our daily duties as they arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
5-7 years related experience required.
Minimum of 4-6 years related experience with Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree and experience in website development, digital marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & data analysis.
Ability to effectively communicate to both internal & external stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in using web and data analytic tools (Google Analytics, Tableau), excel pivot tables, and basic functions for maintaining and creating reports.
Comfortable navigating a complex organization and building cross‑functional relationships.
Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate your ideas and convince an audience using data and visual storytelling.

Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $54.00 - $57.00/hour . Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
