Principal Product Designer
Saleo, Inc., Alpharetta, GA, United States
Saleo is the leading Live sales demo experience platform for software companies. We help revenue teams shorten sales cycles, increase win rates, and close more deals—by eliminating broken demos, missing data, and time‑consuming demo prep. Saleo gives teams complete control over their product experience, enabling them to tell the perfect story for every customer.
We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer (UI/UX + Frontend) to own and elevate the end‑to‑end product experience at Saleo. This is a high‑impact role at the intersection of product, design, and frontend thinking. You’ll set the standard for UX/UI across the platform, build scalable systems, and partner closely with product and engineering to shape the future of the product. You’ll start as a hands‑on design leader and play a key role in growing and managing the UX team over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Product Experience
Lead design across Saleo’s platform—from concept through production
Turn complex workflows (DOM capture, data injection, personalization) into intuitive, elegant user experiences
Continuously refine UX through customer feedback, usage data, and iteration
Set Design Direction & Standards
Define and uphold a high bar for UX/UI quality across all products
Establish design principles, patterns, and best practices
Lead design critiques and guide product experience decisions
Build & Scale Design Systems
Own and evolve a scalable design system across Saleo
Create reusable components, patterns, and guidelines
Ensure consistency while enabling fast product development
Design + Frontend Collaboration
Work closely with engineers to deliver pixel‑perfect UI
Think in systems—components, states, responsiveness—not just static screens
Contribute to implementation where needed (React, CSS, motion)
Elevate Interaction & Motion
Design thoughtful interactions, transitions, and micro‑interactions
Use motion to improve usability, clarity, and product feel
Grow & Lead the UX Team
Manage and mentor the current Product Design team
Establish workflows, feedback loops, and design processes
Scale the UX team over time as the company grows
Play a key role in hiring and developing future designers
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to shape roadmap and execution
Bring customer context into every design decision
Act as a strategic partner in defining what we build—not just how it looks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
6+ years designing modern SaaS products (B2B strongly preferred)
Proven ability to own product experience end‑to‑end
Deep expertise in Figma (systems, prototyping, production‑ready design)
Strong experience building and scaling design systems
Experience mentoring or leading other designers
Strong understanding of frontend systems (components, responsiveness, states)
Experience with motion design (Framer Motion, Lottie, CSS, etc.)
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Strong product thinking and ability to simplify complex problems
Portfolio Required.
Applicants not providing a link to their portfolio will not be considered. Portfolios must demonstrate real product work, systems thinking, and impact, showing ownership, not just execution.
Job Category: Product
Job Location: Atlanta (Hybrid) Preferred or Remote
