POSITION DESCRIPTION
BendFilm is hiring a part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support a wide variety of digital communications, marketing communications, and design projects. Working closely with the Managing Directors, this position will lead the development and evolution of the organization’s brand and digital presence, including originating new campaigns, formats, and storytelling approaches, defining and refining BendFilm’s voice across platforms, and driving attendance and engagement across BendFilm’s various programs. This person should feel comfortable with all digital technology and have the ability to produce content, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively—internally and externally. This role requires strong creative judgement and the ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling content across formats.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SCOPE OF WORK
Attend weekly meetings for collaboration on various projects
Manage BendFilm’s weekly newsletter through Mailchimp
Develop and own the social media strategy, timing, assets, and management
Lead the execution of the Festival Creative rollout, including visuals, messaging, and campaigns
Creation of a BendFilm style guide
Add events to community calendars
Track success of mission-aligned marketing strategy and campaigns
Use tools like Canva, Adobe, Slack, Google Workspace
Generate original campaign ideas tied to key programs and revenue goals

Awards Ceremony: Live coverage of the event via Instagram stories; approximately 4 posts & images covering winning films and awards event
