Account Executive, Social Media Planning
Position Summary:
The Celebrity Cruises Global Social Team seeks an Account Executive (AE), Social Media Planning to support day‑to‑day social media execution and strategy. This role will handle content scheduling, community engagement, reporting, and social listening to maintain an active social presence, protect brand reputation, and support integrated marketing initiatives. The position is full‑time, onsite in Miami, Florida, and is not eligible for work‑authorization sponsorship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Scheduling

Own end‑to‑end social content scheduling across channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely publishing.

Upload monthly shareable assets to the online content repository.

Community Management

Lead community management for all owned social channels, groups, and online platforms.

Regularly monitor activity, report on trends, and respond to non‑customer service inquiries across comments and DMs.

Reporting

Pull and organize data and analytics for monthly and quarterly reporting to the Social Media Planning Lead.

Extract paid social performance data and provide recommendations for overall reporting and planning.

Social Listening

Stay current on emerging social platform features, industry trends, and travel‑category shifts to inform ongoing optimization.

Execute the approved social listening strategy and act as liaison to cross‑functional partners.

Track and monitor brand, industry, competitor, and cultural conversations via Brand Watch, surfacing insights and opportunities.

Monitor sentiment across social platforms and online forums—including private Facebook groups—and collaborate to align response strategies.

Collaborate with the Loyalty team on Cruise Critic Q&A and community touchpoints.

Share real‑time “pulse” updates on relevant inbound topics from across the organization.

Produce monthly social listening reports with key insights and recommendations.

Planning Support

Support organization and upkeep of the social content calendar.

Assist with GTM communications and coordination: managing calendar invites, preparing creative materials for reviews, and following timelines set by the Social Media Planning Lead.

Cross‑Functional Support

Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, vendors, and internal partners.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Events, and Revenue teams.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor’s degree (preferred in communications, public relations, or marketing).

1‑3 years of experience in social media, PR, or marketing functions within large, complex, fast‑moving organizations.

Experience with a wide variety of marketing activities, including social media management.

Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest platform‑specific knowledge.

Proficiency with social media management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and reporting.

Strong understanding of traditional media, influencers, and social media ecosystems.

Customer‑oriented skills across B2B and B2C segments.

Proven program and project management track record, including metrics development.

Ability to coordinate projects and participate in cross‑functional teams.

Highly organized, flexible, and capable of multitasking.

Excellent research, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Solid MS Office proficiency.

Experience with content management systems (plus).

Some travel required.
