PDX Pipeline position opening: Part-time Digital Editor (Independent Contractor)
PDX Pipeline is a Portland events marketing website and local jobs board. We are seeking a collaborative and creative part-time digital editor to support our work through website postings, maintaining a frequently changing online events calendar, and social media management.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 15 hours/week
Compensation: $20/hour
Status: Part-time Independent Contractor
Reports to: Co-Owners
Location: Remote
Key responsibilities Add events and ticket giveaways to PDX Pipeline online calendars
Post events and ticket giveaways to PDX Pipeline website
Post events to social media (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) with appropriate tags
Post job listings to social media (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) with appropriate tags
Banner ad design as needed
Technical Competencies Wordpess
Google Suite
Canva
Basecamp
Threads
Facebook

Required Qualifications Must be local to Portland-metro area
Reliable internet connection and laptop/desktop computer
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Portland-metro area
Graphic design experience
