Order Entry Representative

The Order Entry Representative serves as the first point of contact for business customers placing orders and seeking support. In this role, you handle a high volume of calls and emails each day, process orders accurately, and resolve customer questions while building strong relationships over the phone. You focus on order management and customer service, working from a central queue to ensure timely and professional responses. Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customers placing orders via phone and email. Handle a high volume of daily customer interactions, typically 80 or more quick calls and emails, with peak season reaching 90100 calls per day. Process all customer orders over the phone with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage incoming requests through a central phone number and work from a shared queue to respond promptly. Provide business-to-business customer service, answering questions and resolving issues related to orders and products. Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers during each interaction. Troubleshoot and resolve order-related problems, escalating issues when necessary. Document customer interactions and order details clearly and accurately. Collaborate with a team of Order Entry Representatives to ensure consistent and high-quality service. Multitask effectively by navigating systems, entering orders, and communicating with customers simultaneously. Essential Skills

Experience in order entry or order processing in a customer service environment. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of calls and emails professionally. Ability to multitask effectively while speaking with customers and entering information. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills. Positive, personable demeanor and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders. No specific certifications or formal education requirements for this role. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in business-to-business customer service is beneficial. Background in a high-volume call or contact center environment is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work well within a close-knit team. Interest in career growth and advancement within the company. Work Environment

This role is based onsite in an office environment with a cubicle setting. You will work closely with a team of six other Order Entry Representatives and collaborate daily to manage a shared call and email queue. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The dress code is business casual, and the team culture is supportive and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on working well together and providing opportunities for career growth and advancement. This is a Contract position based out of Nazareth, PA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
