
Senior Corporate Counsel, Contracts

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements with Indeed’s clients
- Develop and refine policies and procedures to improve contract management and negotiation strategies
- Give training and guidance to internal business partners on contract‑related best practices
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and modifications in partnership with Legal Operations Analysts
- Partner closely with Sales to structure deals that support revenue objectives
- Advise on complex agreements in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
- Triage novel or high‑risk requests and escalate as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and evolving regulatory requirements while maintaining commercially competitive contract terms
Skills & Competencies
- Requires a JD, a minimum of 12 years of related experience, and active membership in a US state bar
- Extensive knowledge of contract law, corporate transactions and revenue contracts
- Proven problem‑solving, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Highly organized and adept at streamlining contract management
- Ability to work autonomously while managing high‑priority negotiations
- Ability to balance legal risk with practical business considerations

Salary Range
Tier 1 – United States of America $155,000 – $233,000 USD per year
Tier 2 – United States of America $173,000 – $259,000 USD per year
