About The Role

Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney with 4+ years of experience, seeking to join a dynamic boutique firm. Entrepreneurial, hands‑on lawyer who can run sophisticated deals independently from start to finish. Role supports a robust and expanding pipeline of lender‑side transactions for existing private lender and developer clients.

You will have direct client interaction and the opportunity to work on creative, non‑template deals, making a significant impact on the practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Independently manage and run complex commercial real estate lending transactions from inception to closing.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of loan documents for deals typically in the $100M+ range, including construction and mezzanine loans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing creative legal solutions for sophisticated private lenders.
  • Collaborate directly with partners and a highly skilled paralegal team in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
  • Work on a variety of lender‑side deals across the United States – primarily for industrial complexes and data centers.

Compensation & Location

  • Salary: $140K – $500K (based on ability, not years).
  • Equity: Competitive equity.
  • Origination credit: 25% on any business brought in.
  • Location: Midtown, New York.
  • Flexible hybrid – 3 days encouraged in office.
  • Fully remote available for senior attorneys based in the US.
  • Must be NY‑barred or eligible to waive in.
  • Hiring 6–8 candidates for this role.
  • Visa sponsorship NOT available.
