Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

About the Opportunity:
We are a growing cloud-based platform that seeks a Senior Commercial Counsel to join our legal team. You will support our Sales function and focus on customer-facing SaaS agreements and revenue-driving initiatives across our global operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS subscription agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and DPAs
- Support "Request For" processes, renewals, expansions, and customer audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal input for RFPs and security questionnaires
- Maintain contract templates and support legal operations tools (e.g., contract repository, legal helpdesk)
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards
Must-Have Skills
- J.D. from an ABA accredited university and in good standing with at least one State Bar
- 5-8+ years of relevant work experience in private practice or in-house legal roles
- Experience negotiating SaaS agreements, subscription contracts, and DPAs
- Proven track record of managing and negotiating complex contracts in the technology or SaaS sector
- Familiarity with reseller agreements and other cloud-based technology offerings
- Experience working with sales, revenue, and information security teams in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations
