Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager or Director level to join our growing firm. We serve a variety of tax-exempt and non-profit clients in healthcare, education, community outreach and other sectors. Our clients range from large national organizations to smaller local entities.

A Tax Senior Manager or Director works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to federal tax compliance, planning and consulting engagements for not-for-profit clients
  • Support business development and client relationship management
  • Mentor and develop staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities (Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, 990-T)
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated compensation range: $141,000 to $290,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location. We also provide in-house CPE and learning opportunities through our Learning & Development department.
